Hello, Newman, & welcome to season nine. So we kick things off where the summer of george left off. While can’t-stand-ya is lying to (or I guess technically just not telling) his employer about being handicapped, the k man is now using butter to shave for some reason. But would that actually work in real life & would it make for a smoother shave? Well, we sent our investigative experts out into the field & here is what they were able to uncover.

Well, as it turns out, it actually does. In fact, there are even reports of a man who, inspired by the show, tried shaving with butter. So first he tried shaving a full beard & found that to be quite a messy affair as you can imagine. it ended up being so much of a hassle that he quit halfway through & used a trimmer to shave more of it & then resumed buttering once it was down to stubble. So it didn’t quite go off without a hitch & to make matter worse, some of the butter actually got stuck in the blades & had to be scraped out with a q-tip. But once he was done, he claims he was happy with the results overall & then jumped in the shower before getting a haircut.

He then tried buttering for a daily shave & found it to be much smoother & cleaner. The only problem was, again, the butter got stuck in the blades & it was not easy to rinse it off his face either. But he was pleased with the results he saw when all was said & done.

Finally, he tried using it after a few days of not shaving. He says it was not quite as bad as the full beard shave but it was still rather frustrating. The butter seemed to just glide over the stubble & was tough to get off. After about 10 to 15 minutes, his face stung afterwards but fortunately he had time for a shower. The experts agree butter is not the best lubricant but it won’t necessarily dry you out either.

So what’s the final verdict? Well, yes, you can theoretically shave with butter but obviously it’s not the best method of hair removal. Reports indicate if you can’t get the butter off your face, it can even start to reek after a while. So if you’re feeling adventurous, you’re welcome to give it a shot but, otherwise, we advise you stick to shaving cream or an electric razor. So that’s about all I have for you guys today but thank you so much for reading. I hope you have a great week & I will see you back here next weekend for a brand new episode of Seinfeld Declassified. Until then, this is the x factor signing off.
