Seinfeld Declassified Episode 22: Is North Dakota really as big as Tuscany?
What’s up, guys? Get excited because we are now in season 7 & we have some great stuff planned for you so stick around. So obviously the maestro is a classic but before we dive into the main crux of the episode, we do need to address the elephant in the room. As usual, George is wrong & North Dakota is in fact almost 8 times the size of Tuscany (8,807 square miles to be exact compared to North Dakota’s 70,704). But anyway, now that that’s settled, onto the episode.
So the focal point of the episode is Jerry attempting to prove bob cobb (aka the maestro) wrong when he insists there’s not a single house in all of Tuscany available for rent. So was he on the money or just trying to keep him out? Well, obviously there’s no way to know for sure what was available for rent back then but I did some digging and, yes, there are plenty of places in Tuscany you can rent now. So I think it’s safe to say the same was true back in the 90’s.
I think it’s pretty obvious what was going on here. Bob doesn’t like him so he was just trying to keep him out & also he’s an arrogant jerk. But of course Jerry had to take it to the extremes & try to find a place anyway because that’s how anal he is. In any case, I think it’s safe to say the legacy of Tuscany will love on forever via Seinfeld. So that’s about all I have for you guys today but thank you so much for reading. Have a great thanksgiving & I’ll see you back here tomorrow for a brand new episode of SD. Until then, this is the x factor signing off.
